The Shadow of Dragons
The City of Peace, Fenabeth is a mighty fortress city built in the middle of the Hills of Girnor.
When Grimvoor lead his Bladeskull orcish army south to war with Glimhane in 410FA, the elves and eladrin were engaged in a rapidly escalating confrontation. For several years the eladrin had been crossing over from the Feywild and settling in elvish lands within the Glimhane Forest. By around 410, tensions over land, rights, and resources had led to ever-larger confrontations between the two races, and all signs pointed to an impending war.
Grimvoor’s invasion united the two races against a common foe, and they realized the folly of their ways. After pushing the orcs back to the wastes of the Orcral, they founded the city of Fenabeth in the Hills of Girnor. Charged with eternal watch of the northern border of the new united nation of Glimhane, Fenabeth is home to a standing garrison of several thousand elvish and eladrin troops, and several thousand more civilians of various races who have come to make their life there.
